I lost my grandmother in March, 2025. We were very close, and she was the first significant family loss I’d experienced and will grieve forever. I started my boutique studio, Blue Chair Photography, in honor of two blue chairs she kept in her bedroom, and passed down to me.

Her passing taught me that photos are never more important than toward the end of a life.
